2003 PINOTAGE Fort Ross Vineyard, Sonoma Coast 90 POINTS
Dense and spicy with deep, ripe and fleshy plum and berry flavors. Might just be the best Pinotage anywhere.

2002 PINOTAGE Fort Ross Vineyard, Sonoma Coast WINE OF THE WEEK
This Sonoma-grown, cool-climate version of South Africa’s signature varietal (a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault) is a true revelation, with deep, sensuous flavors, mouthfilling dark fruit, and a supple, velvety finish. A superb effort with a grape that could deserve a second look from American vintners. -SEPTEMBER 6-9, 2006
