Warm drinks and breakfast snacks will be served from 9:00 a.m. to fortify you before going on the hunt. The hunt will begin approximately at 9:30 a.m. The mycologist will first give a talk about the mushrooms of the area. We will then head out from the Tasting Room to an area we know that has a generally good mushroom yield and begin our hunt. Upon returning to the Tasting Room, we will review and discuss the day’s booty. The weather at this time of the year is unpredictable so please dress in layers, wear sturdy footwear and bring suitable waterproof outer attire.
The mushroom themed luncheon prepared by our Executive Chef will start at 1:00 p.m. The following is the planned menu but is subject to change depending on available ingredients.
